Jicey is the European specialist and leader in precision mechanical adjustment. From very large shims intended for offshore applications to extra-thin shims of a few millimetres for the aeronautical or optical industries, from standard shims to shims that are tailor made to your dimensions and specifications, Jicey manufactures more than 3 million adjustment shims per year for the aeronautical, military, space, railway, mechanical, transport and public works industries, etc. Jicey provides the adjustment solution that is most suited to the necessary precision that is required for any mechanical assembly.

Jicey is a specialist in the techniques of transformation of thin and ultra-thin laminated materials, and our production lines use all the modern means of machining and cutting out, which enable the manufacture of thin flat parts in many materials.

Jicey is equipped with a range of conventional and digitally controlled machines. Our own cutting out tools are assisted by mechanical or hydraulic presses, some automatic and some not, and we include cutting out techniques by laser, water jet or electro-erosion when working with our partners.

Jicey is always innovating and bringing to its adjustment products new patented processes, new materials and unequalled quality in order to provide you with an increasingly high level of satisfaction.

The laminated materials used for the composition of peelable shims are at the core of our technology. Our laboratory develops the glues that are used for our products line. Gluing is carried out continuously in layers of negligible thickness by means of a specific process, developed by Jicey, to ensure perfect parallelism of the finished parts.

Product quality is not a concept at Jicey; it is a reality and a quest at all times. All the parts that leave our production lines are subjected to exemplary finishing and precision. We carry out quality control on all our parts, as well as a dimensional check to satisfy all your requirements.

Supplying for production, by way of technical and commercial activities, Jicey has developed strict quality procedures based on ISO 9001 standards, with the addition of standard EN 9100 for aeronautics.

In 1959, Jean Caillas, the former director of Jicey, decided to develop and build pleasure boats. It was the beginning of a real nautical success story that went on for more than a decade. You maybe remember the famous runabout Espadon or even its participation to several sporting events and water races. You will also briefly discover in this website the prestigious "Jicey" which was the very first french Formula 1 & 2 to race in international Grand Prix in 1947 with its driver Eugene Martin.

PACKAGING
Jicey packs almost all its production in blister packs or bubble films and air cushions for the maximum protection of all our parts from our production workshops up to their final use.
